Spicer Landfill, Porirua
The Spicer Landfill site has been operational since 2009. It has a potential gas rating of 1000kW. NOTE - there is no generation at this site.
Description of facility:
In January 2013 the Porirua City Council announced a staged expansion of Spicer Landfill within its boundary that will extend its life to at least 2045.
Major environmental work has also been done to control discharges of greenhouse gases, storm water and leachate from the landfill
