Little Sisters of the Poor Home and Hospital
The Little Sisters of the Poor run a home and hospital providing care facilities for the elderly. Hot water and heating is provided from a wood chip boiler.
Description of facility:
Hot water is supplied from a Binder 300kW wood biomass boiler. It is a low pressure hot water boiler.
The hot water is stored in a 15,000litre hot water accumulator tank. The plant is monitored and controlled via remote desktop. Storage of wood chip on site is in a 120m2 bunker.
